Our Story

MG and Becky Bouchard have been married for going on 40 years and have always had a love for dogs and making them a part of the family. When they moved out to rural Massachusetts in the 1990s, their farm dream became a reality. Bouchard's Best Shepherds was founded there with their two beautiful daughters Mollie and Sarah Rose. Bouchard's Best Shepherds has been a family affair since. Socialization and training have been vital and our children, their children, and friends have been a key part of our socialization program. From making jump courses and obstacle courses for the dogs, to training with some of the best dog trainers in the area, our dogs have always been socialized, trained, and most importantly loved.

 Sarah Rose has taken the socialization and training side of the business and created First Foundations Puppy Boot Camp that you may inquire about for your puppy. Check the training tab in our menu to learn more.

We have also been blessed with our amazing pet nanny, April. She is the one that makes it possible to safely and lovingly transport our puppies all over the country to their new owners. She has been in the transportation business for years, but found her true niche in transporting the most precious of cargo, puppies! Clients rave about her delivery process, and how clean and well cared for their pup was on the trip to meet their new family. With April on board, we no longer have to worry about messy flights and transportation delays. She is dependable, caring, and always ready to help us get your puppy to you when you are ready. We are so thankful for April and all that she does for Bouchard's Best Shepherds.
